Street Law, Inc. is proud to announce that its 2025 Corporate Champion Award will be presented to The Home Depot.
This annual award honors corporate partners that demonstrate an exceptional commitment to creating positive change in their communities through Street Law programs. This year’s award will be accepted by Teresa Wynn Roseborough, executive vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary of The Home Depot, at Street Law’s 2025 Awards Gala on April 30 in Washington, DC.
“We are thrilled to present the 2025 Corporate Champion Award to The Home Depot and thank all their staff who have worked with us to advance our mission for nearly a decade,” said Ashok Regmi, CEO of Street Law, Inc. “Our years of partnership have resulted in impactful programs serving communities in need.”
A steadfast Street Law partner since 2017, The Home Depot has implemented a wide range of meaningful programs in the Atlanta area. Legal department volunteers have led engaging lessons on practical law, legal career pathways, and legal life skills—reaching youth and adults in both school and community settings. Their efforts have empowered and inspired participants to explore legal careers, understand their rights and responsibilities, and see the law as a tool for personal and community advancement.
“The Home Depot is proud of its decades-long partnership with Street Law in promoting legal literacy,” said Teresa Wynn Roseborough, EVP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at The Home Depot. “We greatly value Street Law’s dedication to fostering civic understanding through education.”
One of the most impactful aspects of The Home Depot’s partnership with Street Law is its support of the Legal Career Pipeline Program. This program introduces students to foundational legal concepts, immerses them in real-world learning experiences, and exposes them to a range of legal career possibilities. This work is achieved through strategic collaborations with law firms, corporations, and schools.
Since launching its Street Law program, The Home Depot has mobilized hundreds of legal department volunteers to visit Atlanta-area high schools and lead learning activities on legal topics. Each year, the program culminates in a Legal Careers Conference hosted at its corporate headquarters, offering skill-building workshops and insights into legal careers and corporate law in action. To broaden its reach, The Home Depot has partnered with organizations such as Alston & Bird LLP and the Georgia Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), exemplifying how corporate legal teams and the broader legal community can collaborate to inspire the next generation of legal professionals.
In addition to its career-focused programming, The Home Depot has also supported Street Law’s Community Empowerment and Justice Programs. The company partnered with Wellspring Living to deliver Street Law’s legal life skills lessons to survivors of domestic sex trafficking in Atlanta. This important work highlights The Home Depot’s commitment to using education about the law as a tool for empowerment and meaningful community impact.
Through its dedication to education, mentorship, and service, The Home Depot exemplifies the values at the heart of Street Law’s mission. Street Law, Inc. is proud to recognize their outstanding contributions with the 2025 Corporate Champion Award.
