Petronilla leads Street Law's Legal Career Pathway Programs, expanding access to law-related professions through education and hands-on learning experiences. She collaborates with educators, legal professionals, and corporate partners to design initiatives that equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate legal career pathways. With a focus on career readiness and workforce development, Petronilla works to bridge the gap between academic preparation and professional opportunities, ensuring that students can explore and advance in the legal profession.
She believes in the power of collaborative environments to build connections and partner with stakeholders to advance the mission of Street Law Inc., ultimately fueling her passion and commitment to her role.
Petronilla has garnered significant accolades, including the Kelsy Beshears Racial Justice Award (2023) and the Missouri Western Foundation Dr. James J. Scanlon Award for Faculty Service to Community (2024).
She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the West Indies, Barbados, a Legal Education Certificate from Hugh Wooding Law School, Trinidad and Tobago, and a Master of Laws in Experiential Learning and Teaching from Charles University, Czech Republic.
Petronilla is admitted to the Bar in New York State and Trinidad and Tobago. She is a member of the Association of Missouri Mediators (AMM) and the Global Alliance for Justice Educators (GAJE).
