Kathleen serves in a cross-functional role, leading Street Law’s business development efforts, shepherding its strategic planning and working to streamline operations so that programs are implemented effectively and efficiently.

Kathleen is passionate about civic education and believes that an informed and engaged citizenry who can navigate complex laws and political concepts is key to a vibrant democracy.

Kathleen brings 15+ years of project management and leadership experience in the democracy and civic engagement space. Her experience includes impactful work with the U.S. Congress and domestic political campaigns as well as leading global democracy initiatives. She brings to Street Law her expertise in global civic education project design and implementation, grant management, business development, partnership creation and organizational strategy.

Kathleen holds a Master of Science in Foreign Service degree from Georgetown University and received her bachelor’s degree in political science and Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
