Melanie Harper

Melanie oversees Street Law's financial operations, ensuring strong fiscal stewardship in support of the organization's mission. She manages accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, audit coordination, and financial systems.

With more than two decades of experience in the nonprofit sector, Melanie has served in program, operations, and finance roles. She believes nonprofit organizations play an essential role in advancing human rights and social justice and has dedicated her career to supporting that work. She is especially inspired by Street Law's commitment to civic education and bridging divides.

Melanie holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Linfield College.
