Street Law, Inc. is proud to announce the recipient of its 2026 Corporate Champion Award: JM Family Enterprises.
The annual Corporate Champion Award honors corporate partners that demonstrate an exceptional commitment to advancing opportunity and creating meaningful change through Street Law programs. The award will be accepted by Caren Snead Williams, JM Family’s vice president and deputy general counsel, Corporate Governance, at Street Law’s 2026 Awards Gala on May 6 in Washington, DC.
“JM Family Enterprises serves as a model of what meaningful corporate engagement in law-related education looks like in practice,” said Ashok Regmi, CEO of Street Law, Inc. “Their team doesn’t just volunteer—they invest in students’ growth, helping them build real-world legal knowledge, see themselves in the profession, and understand how the law can shape their futures. We are proud to recognize their partnership and impact.”
A dedicated Street Law partner since 2021, JM Family has implemented the Legal Career Pipeline Program in partnership with Deerfield Beach High School in South Florida. Through this sustained collaboration, members of the company’s legal department—along with colleagues across the organization—engage students in interactive learning experiences that introduce foundational legal concepts, connect classroom learning to real-world applications, and expose students to a range of law-related careers. By connecting students directly with legal professionals, JM Family expands access to career exploration and strengthens pathways into the legal field for students who may not have access to these opportunities.
A hallmark of the partnership is the program’s capstone event, where JM Family convenes guest speakers from across the legal and business sectors, including a county judge, a law firm partner and the chief operating officer of a sports and entertainment talent agency, to join Snead Williams in offering professional insight and guidance on legal careers. Students apply their newly developed legal knowledge in interactive workshops that challenge them to analyze and respond to real-life legal scenarios. Many volunteers and guest speakers return year after year, reflecting the program’s strength and impact.
Since launching the program, JM Family has mobilized scores of volunteers and reached more than 100 high school students. Student feedback has been consistently strong, with many reporting increased awareness of and interest in legal and law-related careers—often paths they had not previously considered.
“Investing in the Street Law program allows us to use our legal expertise to create meaningful, skills-based impact in our community,” Snead Williams shared. “Through this partnership, our team can share knowledge, expand access to the law, and inspire students who may not otherwise see a path into the legal profession.”
Through these efforts, the company has helped bring the law to life for students and build confidence, aspiration, and a sense of belonging. This work reflects JM Family’s broader commitment to community engagement and expanding opportunity. That dedication to education and service exemplifies the values at the heart of Street Law’s mission. Street Law, Inc. is proud to recognize JM Family’s outstanding contributions with the 2026 Corporate Champion Award.
