Street Law will have a presence at the upcoming NALP Annual Education Conference in San Francisco April 18-22!

The conference is the premier educational program for legal career professionals, covering everything from recruiting and career counseling to diversity and inclusion. Attendees should look for Program Director Joy Dingle at the Street Law booth (#404) in the Exhibit Hall to learn more about Street Law and the Legal Diversity Pipeline program.

The Street Law/NALP Legal Diversity Pipeline Program partners law firms with local high schools to teach about legal topics and encourage students of color to consider the profession.  Our approach is practical, relevant, and experiential, blending legal content with innovative hands-on teaching strategies that actively engage students and program participants in the learning process.  Pipeline volunteers visit students in their classrooms and host a half-day Legal Careers Conference at their respective firms where students have an opportunity to become “lawyers for a day.”

The conference will be a great opportunity to connect and discuss some of the most important current issues in the legal profession. In addition to the Street Law booth, Joy will attend the Thursday evening Diversity and Inclusion reception. Please take a moment to seek her out there – or anywhere else during this jam-packed conference.

See you in San Francisco!
