2021 marked 20 years since the launch of our Legal Diversity Pipeline Program—and we are celebrating!

For two decades our Pipeline Program has partnered with law firms and corporate legal departments to reach students who are often underrepresented in the legal profession.

Volunteers provide role modeling, career pathway information, support, legal simulations, and the opportunity to step into the shoes of a legal professional.

To recognize this special occasion, we sat down in conversation with several people to celebrate, reflect, and look to the future of our Legal Diversity Pipeline work.

Fireside Chat with Robert Grey, President of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity

Robert discusses how attitudes towards diversity in the legal profession have changed over the past 20 years, the role pipeline programs play in shifting the legal diversity landscape, and the challenges the legal community faces when addressing issues of diversity.

Veta talks about the program’s origins, memorable moments, and benefits to participating organizations.

Fireside Chat with McDonald’s Law Department Volunteers
