On March 1st, Street Law is hosting a workshop for DMV-area Legal Life Skills partners, volunteers, and those interested in starting a Legal Life Skills program.

This workshop will cover:

  • what our Legal Life Skills (LLS) programs are
  • how to implement a LLS program
  • how to use Street Law teaching methods to enhance your current LLS program,

This will also be a great opportunity to network with other DMV-area LLS partners

We will provide light breakfast and a comprehensive lunch. 

Our workshop will be held in our office building in downtown Silver Spring (a short walk from the Metro station), in the 2nd Floor Conference Room, starting at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 3:00 p.m. (Our office building is located at 1010 Wayne Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20910.) Metered parking is available in the garage across the street.

This workshop is for current (or previous) Legal Life Skills partners, current (or previous) Legal Life Skills volunteers, youth leaders from our Legal Life Skills programs, and social service organizations that serve vulnerable populations (e.g. juvenile justice, foster care youth, homeless populations) interested in participating in Legal Life Skills.
