Christophe D. Mosby is Associate General Counsel for the LaserJet and Enterprise Solutions (LES) business within the HP Printing and Personal Systems Group. He is the primary point of contact for legal issues affecting the LES business. Mosby and his team oversee LES legal support in areas such as antitrust/competition law; risk assessment and risk mitigation; strategic counseling; alliances; partnering; in-bound and out-bound relationships; and contract development, review and negotiation.
Previously, Mosby was Associate General Counsel and Director in the Global Functions group of the Office of the General Counsel. In that role, he was the lead counsel for the Global Marketing and Global IT organizations (and provided regular counsel to the Global Communications function) and managed the team providing legal support to the global procurement and global real estate disciplines of the Technology and Operations function. For a short time, Mosby was also an HP alliance attorney, supporting HP’s alliance with Adobe Systems Inc.
Prior to joining HP, Mosby was a senior associate in the Palo Alto, California office of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, where he practiced corporate and securities law, with a particular focus on venture finance and merger and acquisition transactions. Prior to his tenure at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, Mosby was a corporate associate at the law firms of Jaffe, Raitt, Heuer & Weiss LLP in Southeast Michigan and Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, LLP in Palo Alto, California.
Mosby earned his J.D. at the University of Michigan Law School and his undergraduate degree in Human Biology at Stanford University.
