Mary C. Larkin
director of international programs & human resources
Mary conducts civic, democracy, human rights, and law-related training programs and provides technical assistance to nongovernmental organizations in Africa and the Middle East. During her time at Street Law, Mary has created numerous public legal education programs for youth in various settings, including delinquent and disabled youth. She is co-author of the texts Democracy for All and Islam and Democracy: Toward Effective Citizenship. Both texts are used by international NGOs to teach about the basic principles of democracy and citizen participation. Mary also wrote the civics textbook Law in Your Life.
